Founded in 1987 the name of the hotel has a history of its own. It took its
name from the Grandfather of the family - CAPTAIN COSTAS. The place used to
serve as a small warehouse where Captain Costas kept his tools - boats, nets etc
Captain Costas's daughter Fani and her husband Vangelis founded the hotel and
now their two children continue in the family business tradition.
The Captain's House Hotel is situated in the beautiful village of Skala in
Kefalonia- only 50metres from the centre of the village. Its location is ideal
as it is situated close to both the beach and all amenities of the village.
The capacity of the hotel is 28 rooms- each with its own bathroom and balcony.
Most have a wonderful view combining mountains and sea.
The reception provides many special services like money exchange, telephone
alarm calls etc.
Across from the hotel is the Captains Bar - where Monica, Tina, Andreas ands
Theo will serve every need you may have during your stay. Next to the bar you
can find a tennis court which can use 24 hours a day- be it for fun or exercise.
